Man accused of theft of $255,000 from woman

A man was sent to the Supreme Court yesterday after he was accused of the theft of more than $255,000.

Jahni Holder, 26, was charged in Magistrates’ Court with the theft of $194,960 from Hazel Holder between January 22, 2016 and December 9, 2016.

He was also charged with stealing $43,301 from Ms Holder between July 1, 2015 and August 6, 2015 and another $17,370 between April 1, 2015 and May 22, 2015.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released Mr Holder, from Pembroke, on $50,000 bail and ordered him to attend the Supreme Court on January 4 next year.
