Pink Beach honours long-serving workers

Managing director Mr. W.A. (Toppy) Cowen described the staff members as "extraordinary people who saw no need to change their careers over the decades''.

Mr. Cowen said the qualities of the property and the employees made the long association possible.

The longest-serving employee at 39 years is Mrs. Phyllis Minks, who began at Pink Beach a few years after it opened in 1947.

VETERANS -- Long-time employees at the Pink Beach Club last week celebrated more than 406 years of collective service at the South Shore cottage colony.
