Michael Shrubb, a junior at The Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut, was recently elected by the student body to the highest position of student leadership and responsibility ? Head Monitor for the 2005-2006 school year.

Mr. Shrubb will be in charge of organising a wide range of student activities ? he will act as the liaison between the students and faculty, meeting weekly with Head of School, William MacMullen, to discuss issues, concerns and events at Taft and he will be part of the School's Discipline Committee.

Mr. Shrubb is the son of Paul and Heather Shrubb of Warwick.
