Technology symposium to be held at the end of the month

The Bermuda Technology Education Collaborative (B.TEC) will play a central role in the International Education Collaborative Foundation Symposium on public-private partnerships in technology education.

The symposium will be held on January 28-30 at XL headquarters in Hamilton.

The theme of the symposium is ?Bridging the Digital Divide?.

There will be a number of topics addressed including corporate investment in education, educational standards and assessment tools, Global Partnership building, teacher training, community resource building, and technology integration in the educational product.

Delegates from the Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, St. Lucia, Grenada, and Trinidad and Tobago will be attending the symposium.

Premier Alex Scott will host the welcome reception for the local and overseas delegates at XL House on January 28 at 5.30 p.m.
