Two men stand charged with importing cannabis that prosecutors allege was worth more than $250,000.
Damon Francis, 32, and Anthony Isaac, 33, are accused of conspiring with others to bring the drug into Bermuda between a date unknown and June 17 this year.
Isaac is further accused of possessing cannabis with intent to supply it in Sandys on June 17.
The defendants were not required to enter pleas when they appeared at Magistrates' Court yesterday since the matter must be dealt with by the Supreme Court.
Iasac, of Bronx, New York, was remanded into custody. Francis, of Warwick parish, was granted $30,000 bail. They must return to court on July 6.
