Mr. Gurret, who is executive head chef at the Southampton Princess hotel, was presented with the Chevalier dans l'Ordre du Merite Agricole by the French Consul General in New York in a ceremony at the Bermuda hotel. Chef Gurret was honoured for his many years' service in French cuisine. He has been with the Princess Hotels group for more than 30 years.
