Drivers are urged to exercise extreme caution as the new traffic layout at Paget Plaza will come into effect on Sunday.

The entrance and exit outside of Ice Queen will be switched around ? the new entrance will be on the western end and the new exit will be on the eastern end.

The switch came about after last months fatal accident of visitor, Rosemary Bigelow, 50, of Pennsylvania outside of Paget Plaza.

Mrs. Bigelow was killed when her rental scooter collided with a tractor trailer as she was leaving Paget Plaza.

Chairman of BDC Ltd., Ward Young, said no construction will be needed to switch around the entrance and exit to the Plaza.

New signs will be erected by Works and Engineering that will make it clear which way to enter and exit the Plaza, he said.

The public is asked to show patience and consideration as motorists become accustomed to the changes.
