Plans for Botanical Gardens library

Visitors to the Botanical Gardens will be able to enjoy a new library if plans to have the Visitors Centre expanded are approved.

A planning application was submitted on November 18 proposing the renovations to the Centre located in the heart of the gardens in Paget.

PTB seeks upgrade to East End headquarters

The Public Transportation Board will be renovating its East End headquarters with changing rooms and a lounge area.

The application also proposes covered cycle parking for workers.

A planning application was submitted for approval on November 15 to make the additions to the existing building at 15 Old Military Road, St. George's.

BLDC eyes hostel for Tommy Fox Road

The Bermuda Land Development Company has submitted a planning application to build a 42-unit hostel on Tommy Fox Road.

The application was received on November 15 and requests permission for a change of use for the upper floor areas of the existing barracks to create the hostel.

The location of the hostel is 631 Tommy Fox Road, St. George's.
