BSX to host exam on October 20
Association of Securities Dealer Series 7 Exam on October 20.
The exam was first offered locally in June, when two professionals sat the exam at Bermuda College and passed. This time, more than 20 professionals have tentatively signed up for the exam.
Series 7 is a six-hour, 250-question multiple-choice exam. The BSX will be organising weekly study groups starting in early September.
A NASD examiner will be travelling to Bermuda to proctor the exam, but by 2001 the BSX hopes to be able to administer the exams electronically every quarter.
DILL SECONDED TO TORONTO EXCHANGE APP Dill seconded to Toronto exchange Bermudian Chris Dill, primary reader with the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX), has been seconded to the listings department of the Toronto Stock Exchange for the summer.
Mr. Dill began his stint at the TSE the first week in July and will finish in late August. A release from the BSX announced that Mr. Dill will be spending most of his time in the divisions of market regulation and corporate finance services.
