Upon A Table, has been put on the market for more than a million dollars.

Bermuda Realty, subsidiary of Bermuda Home, has advertised for a buyer or a tenant for the "prominent city property'' at 49 Serpentine Road.

A newspaper advertisement said the property is approximately 0.23 of an acre, including over 5,700 square feet of building, with plans and permission for expansion to 24,400 square feet.

The ad specifies for prospective buyers: "Offers over $1 million (will be) considered.'' Alternatively, the property is offered for rent. The announcement said: "Rental offers for the main building considered for a variety of commercial uses (subject to planning permission) including offices, showrooms and retail with on site parking and adjacent to Bulls Head public car park.

"Separate lease of Buttery and Terrace considered $2,500 per month.'' Once Upon A Table was shut down early last month, with the loss of seven jobs.

Owner Llewellyn Harvey blamed the lack of performance in the tourism industry which led to a two year downturn in business.
