A new stamp series commemorating the Bermuda Boat Parade and the Bermuda Lights Festival will be released today.

Started just six years ago, the Boat Parade has become a feature of the Island?s festive season and attracts thousands to the Hamilton Harbour shorline to see the sophisticated decorations on the boats. The three new stamps and an Official First Day Cover can be bought at any post office for $1.55 and $3 respectively.

The Boat Parade stamps issue is the Bermuda Philatelic Bureau?s fifth of the year and follows the Quincentennial of the Discovery of Bermuda, Made in Bermuda Part 3, 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar, and Bermuda Habitats.
