Somers shares up 9%

Shares of Somers Limited improved $1.24, or 9 per cent, to $15 after 3,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 9.07 points, or 0.42 per cent, at 2,155.67, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 4.27 points, or 0.27 per cent, at 1,594.91.
On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 51 cents, or 1.61 per cent, at $31.21.
