Mobility Limited has appointed John Narraway as chief operating officer.
Mr. Narraway joins the company from rival cellular service provider Cellular One where he held the post of sales, marketing and product development manager.
In his new position, Mr. Narraway is responsible for providing leadership and management directors for Mobility?s overall network operation, as well as marketing and sales for Mobility Ltd, the company said in a Press release.
Mobility CEO Lloyd Fray said Mr. Narraway would be pivotal to the continued growth of the company. ?Mobility continues to invest in the development of its wireless networks, particularly with regard to coverage and technological evolution.
?John brings a wealth of knowledge and telecom experience which will enhance our operations tremendously. I believe this will be an exciting year for Mobility as we focus on delivering newer products and enhanced services, areas in which John has immense ability.?
Bermuda?s telecoms sector is undergoing rapid development with a significant number of industry players just coming out with new products, especially in the area of wireless technology, or saying there are developments the pipeline. Mr. Narraway said: ?The next few years in the wireless industry are going to be the most interesting in history. There is so much room for growth and a chance to do some really cutting edge development.?

Bermuda-based IT security specialist Quo Vadis has announced that Mark Steede has joined the company as an infrastructure technologist.
Mr. Steede, a Bermudian, recently graduated from A&M University, Alabama with a degree in Computer Science and has previously worked as an intern at several international companies in Bermuda.
