The Bank of Bermuda rebounded in trading on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday, gaining $1.50 or 5.2 percent to close at $30.50 on volume of 100 shares.
This helped pull The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index higher. The index gained 48.27 points, or 2.26 percent, closing at 2,185.29.
In other trading, the Bank of Butterfield remained unchanged at $31.40 despite 7,600 shares changing hands.
In the insurance sector, BF&M Ltd. gained $0.25 or 2.6 percent to close at $10 on volume of 2,000 shares.
The only other activity was in Bermuda Computer Services which gained $0.50 or 9.1 percent to close at $6 on volume of 200 shares.
