Champagne launch for law book
A champagne reception tonight at the National Gallery will see the launch of a second edition book and the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the specialist reinsurance law firm of Attride-Stirling & Woloniecki.
Tonight the firm?s head of litigation, Jan Woloniecki, and her co-author Dr. Terry O?Neill, head of Clifford Chance?s insurance practice will launch the 2nd Edition of ?The Law of Reinsurance in England?.
The first edition of the book won the 1998 British Insurance Law Association?s prize for best reinsurance text. The second edition includes significant updates on English case law, legislation and developments in Lloyd?s and the London market as well as a much expanded treatment of the law in Bermuda and the Bermuda insurance/reinsurance marketplace. Two of Mr. Woloniecki?s associates, Neil Horner and Kim Wilkerson are contributing authors to the expanded Bermuda law and practice sections of the text. Mr. Horner has authored new sections on the regulation of reinsurance companies and the set up and use of segregated account companies under Bermuda Law. Ms Wilkerson has contributed sections on the Bermuda insurance marketplace and market practice.
