the road for two years after pleading guilty to the same offence yesterday in Magistrates' Court.

Michael G. Crockwell, of St. Paul's Lane, Paget, was travelling west on South Road in Paget when he almost collided with a Police car that was travelling west.

The officers had to swerve out of the way in order to avoid hitting Crockwell, Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said. Crockwell was stopped and Police noticed that his breath smelled of alcohol and his eyes were glazed.

Crockwell was arrested and taken to Hamilton Police Station where he failed an alco-analyser test.

Sgt. Mouchette informed the court that Crockwell had been before the court in 1984, 1987 and 1992 for the similar offences.

Mr. Francis banned Crockwell from driving all motor vehicles for two years and fined him $600 for the offence.
