Raymond Weeks, 32, of St. John's Road pleaded guilty to the charge of wilful damage on Friday.

Prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette told the court that Weeks and the woman were driving on Cut Road in St. George's on April 20 when they began to argue.

As the dispute became more heated, Weeks kicked the windshield of the car, cracking it.

The woman stopped the car, made Weeks get out, and then reported the incident to Police.

The damage to the vehicle was more than $950 and Magistrate Cheryl-Ann Mapp fined Weeks $500.

Carrie Tucker, 28, of Connecticut pleaded guilty to the charges in Magistrates' Court on Friday and said she did not know marijuana was illegal in Bermuda.

Prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette told the court Customs officers searched the Meridian at Dockyard on July 23 and found two partially-smoked marijuana joints, rolling papers, and a plastic bag on Tucker. The cannabis weighed 2.8 grams.

Magistrate Cheryl-Ann Mapp fined Tucker $200 for the cannabis and $150 for the papers.

CAMP A SUCCESS GVT Camp a success The Department of Youth and Sport has deemed its camp for developing mature attitudes in early teenaged boys a success.

The programme, Boys to Men -- which has been running for three years -- stresses developing thoughts for career choices and learning to make good decisions.

This year it has attracted 37 boys aged between 11 and 13.

Weekly classes in crisis management are held and the boys visit a gym twice a week.

They have also taken educational trips to Pure Water, The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, and the Bermuda Regiment among other places.

But a Youth and Sport spokesperson pointed out that it was not all work for the youngsters. They have also had the opportunity to kayak, snorkle, camp, bowl, go to basketball camp and play tennis.

$150 FINE FOR PIPE CTS $150 fine for pipe Possession of a "crack pipe'' cost a Sandys Parish man $150 in Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Mervin Smith, 41, of Bob's Valley Road, was searched by Police officers acting on information forwarded to them.

Prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said officers found the man hiding in his West End Cleaners van parked on Scott's Hill Road in Somerset on April 12.

When approached by Police, Smith said: "You will not find anything except my pipe.'' Sgt. Mouchette said the pipe tested positive for cocaine.

Magistrate Cheryl-Ann Mapp warned Smith to break his habit before it was too late.
