admitting stealing a motorcycle and later punching a hole in the Police station wall.

Acting Senior Magistrate Cheryl-Ann Mapp heard that at 5.30 p.m. on May 20 Jay Ming, of St. Monica's Road, Pembroke, removed the key to a brown V80 from a friend and then proceeded to take the cycle without permission.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette told the court that Ming was being interviewed by Police on another matter when he admitted removing the bike.

He added that Police ended the interview when Ming began to get hostile then punched a hole in the wall at the Hamilton Police Station which led to the wilful damage charge.

Ming told the court that he did not steal the bike and that he was prepared to repair the damage he had done to the wall.

But Ms Mapp declined Ming's offer and ordered him to pay $150 fine for taking the cycle and $100 for the wilful damage.
