52-year-old Sandys man $350 yesterday and his driver's licence for a year.

Raymond Simons, of White Hill Lane, pleaded guilty in Magistrates' Court to driving while impaired.

Police prosecutor Sgt. Anthony Mouchette said Simons was approached by Police on August 9 after he had been involved in an accident on Somerset Road.

A breath test showed Simons had at least 231 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit is 80.
