Apartments rejected
Development Applications Board.
Frederick Yearwood had applied to the DAB to have basement apartments in Yearwood Apartments on Woodbourne Avenue in Pembroke.
But the Board refused the application on the grounds that the proposed for units exceeded the maximum density allowed for apartment house development on the site and the minimum number of parking spaces -- four -- had not been satisfied.
The board said adequate private outdoor space and garbage storage had not been provided.
The Planning Department withdrew an application for an additional room, atrium, and swimming pool for a St. George's guest accommodation.
Delaey Robinson withdrew his application, but it had already gone to the DAB, so the department withdrew it on Mr. Robinson's behalf.
