The victim said she had been Christmas shopping and was waiting for a bus around 9.30 p.m. with a bag full of presents when she was approached by another young female.
The newcomer began a verbal confrontation which escalated into a physical assault, according to the victim.
During the incident, she told Police, two other females who were with her attacker, stole her bag and then the trio left the scene.
YACHT CLUB RAIDED CRM Yacht club raided Police officers are investigating a report of a break-in at the East End Mini Yacht Club in St. George's.
The complainant said he arrived at the club shortly before 5 a.m. on Christmas Eve and found a rear door had been opened.
Someone had forced his or her way into a storage area and made off with an undisclosed amount of money from a cash box.

The man apparently lost control of his cycle around 9.30 p.m. while attempting to overtake a taxi on North Shore Road, just east of Jennings Road.
He entered the west bound lane, lost control, and collided with a stone wall, getting a suspected fractured shoulder, a bump to the head and cuts above his eye.
And in a seperate incident a cycle rider was taken to hospital with head injuries last Friday aftertoon after he was rear ended by a car as he tried to make a turn at the junction of South Road and Tribe Road No. 3.
The man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The man was sleeping sometime after 10 p.m. when the culprit or culprits took an envelope from a pair of trousers hanging on a chair next to the bed.
HEAVYWEIGHT THEFT CRM Heavyweight theft A weighty heist took place last Thursday night when a thief or thieves made off with a 500lb safe from the Pirates Landing restaurant in Dockyard.
The safe contained the days takings including cash, personal cheques and credit card receipts.
While no there was no estimate on how much money was taken, it is understood that the safe has been retrieved.
