Magazine looks at Bermuda eateries
Food and Wine magazine has turned its focus on Bermuda in the latest edition.
Aqua at Ariel Sands, La Coquille, the Newport Room at the Fairmont Southampton, the Pickled Onion, the Tamarisk Room at Cambridge Beaches, and Aggie?s Cafe in Hamilton are listed as the Island?s best restaurants in the ?Where to Go Next? section.
The magazine rates the Fairmont Hamilton Princess as the place for the most unusual tea, while Elbow Beach, The Reefs and Royal Palms are judged ?noteworthy hotels?.
Top shopping tips for connoisseurs are Gosling Brothers, International Imports and Miles Market.
Claudio Vigilante, the co-owner and manager of Aqua, said he was delighted with the accolade, which followed mentions in Gourmet magazine and The New York Times.
?This recognition by overseas publications is testimony to the hard work so many of us have put in to create a compelling ambience, outstanding service and excellent food, beautifully presented,? said Mr. Vigilante.
