Two Warwick Academy students were expelled two weeks ago after admitting they were in possession of an illegal substance.

A release from the school stated that the substance ? which was not identified ?was never used in school and was never in the school's possession.

The two boys admitted they had the illegal substance a week after the incident.

The school said they wanted to stress that it is not true "that the boys were treated differently" after stating that information reported on radio and television was "factually inaccurate".
