Flatts floored by Fubler

Sixteen-year-old spinner Kavon Fubler, a reserve for Somerset in Cup Match, returned an amazing haul of seven wickets for six runs to lead Willow Cuts to this 219-run victory over Flatts in First Division play at Somerset.

The teenager was in devasting form as Flatts folded in just 10.1 overs. Lloyd Phillips was their top scorer on 15.

Fubler bowled 5.1 overs including two maidens.

Earlier Cuts had reached a formidable score with Antoine Bean leading the way with 47 while Bergeon Spencer chipped in with 35.

Ronald Gibbons claimed four for 45 and Dane Badar three for 60.


Somerset Bridge 58

St. George's 62-5

St. George's made short work of Bridge, dismissing the nine-man West Enders in 15.3 overs.

Noel Woods top scored for Bridge with an unbeaten 13.

Gregg Foggo claimed four for 33 off eight overs to lead the St. George's bowlers while Dage Minors took three for 21 off seven overs.


Leg Trappers 160

Devonshire Rec. 161-3.

Ian Armstrong hammered 90 not out to inspire Devonshire to a seven-wicket victory.

Playing with 10 men, Trappers did well to reach their total with Warren Smith hitting 46 and James Swan 27. Stephen Bremer took three for 38 and Derek Brangman two for 21.

Thanks to Armstrong's aggression, Devonshire coasted home, the batsman slamming 15 fours and three sixes..


Warwick Workmen's 55

Western Stars 56-3

Stars dismantled Warwick Workmen's Club by seven wickets. Batting first, Warwick were bowled out for 55 with only Shervin Richardson (35) providing any real resistance. Seth Campbell took two wickets for 11 runs.

In reply Tre Manders scored 19 not out while Andre Burgess took three for 30 for Warwick.
