Breaking News: Police name road crash victim
Police this afternoon named a 31-year-old man who died in a road crash this morning as Earlston Kavon Bailey Smith.
The accident happened at about 4am at the junction of Crow Lane and Corkscrew Hill.
A Police spokesman said: "Police and first responders attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision at the junction of Crow Lane and Corkscrew Hill in Pembroke. As a result they came upon a 31-year-old Southampton man in a non-responsive state a few feet away from his motorcycle which was extensively damaged.
"He was later pronounced dead at the scene by an on-call physician. The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family & friends of the deceased."
Witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Timothy Evelyn of the Roads Policing Unit on 299- 4390.
His death marks the tenth fatality on Bermuda's roads this year.
