Suzann Roberts Holshouser was born in St. George's, the daughter of Norman and Lita Roberts. She was raised in Smith's Parish but is in the final stages of moving to St. David's with her husband and two sons.

She attended St. George's Preparatory, followed by Cavendish and Whitney Institute. After Bermuda College, she later attended NCR Business School in Dayton, Ohio.

At the age of 17, Ms Holshouser placed third in the Miss Bermuda Contest.

Over the years, she has volunteered much time with various charities across the Island, including the Bermuda Health Foundation. She organised and, with a team, ran the St. Mark's Youth Centre. Ms Holshouser sits on the council of the newly-formed East End Community Centre.

Like many Bermudians, Ms Holshouser has two jobs. She works at Bacardi International Limited and is a weather presenter for Bermuda Broadcasting Company Ltd.

Danvers (Danny) Seymour is the PLP candidate for St. David's. He is the son of the late George and Rosalie Seymour, who built in St. David's the house that Mr. Seymour now occupies.

A teacher at Prospect Primary School, Mr. Seymour is better known locally from his days as a soccer player and coach of several teams, including the powerful Vasco da Gama and Dandy Town sides, as well as North Village, PHC and Southampton.

Mr. Seymour is very active in his church, St. Luke's AME in St. David's, where he is an Elder and Steward.

He attended Central School, Berkeley Institute and subsequently Culham Teacher Training College in Berkshire, England. On returning home to Bermuda, he taught at Paget Primary, Warwick Secondary School and the Berkeley Institute.

Mr. Seymour is the father of a son and daughter, and has four grandchildren.
