Fort Lauderdale flight begins

US Airways' new non-stop service between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Bermuda began yesterday, marking the only non-stop service between South Florida and Bermuda.
The new seasonal summer service will be flown using Airbus A319 aircraft, offering seating for 120 passengers with 12 seats in First Class and 108 seats in Coach Class.
Flights will depart Bermuda at 11.25 a.m., and will arrive in Fort Lauderdale at 12.58 p.m. Return flights will depart Fort Lauderdale at 12.05 p.m., and will arrive in Bermuda at 3.47 p.m.
Fort Lauderdale will be US Airways' sixth domestic gateway to Bermuda, complementing non-stop roundtrip service from Boston, Charlotte, North Carolina, New York LaGuardia, Philadelphia and Washington Reagan National airport.
