Bermuda Homes for People Ltd held its third Open House on Tuesday about the Harbourside Village project.

About 70 people attended the Number 1 Shed on Front Street to find out about the 198 home development in Southside ? half of the houses will be sold at $199,000 and another at market rent.

A further two of the market units were sold at the open house an additional six have been reserved awaiting deposits.

This brings the total sales to first-time homeowners to 29 with 19 reserved out of a total of 99 market units.

Cris Dapena of the Property Group, the firm selling the homes, said she continued to be impressed by the enthusiasm for the project but was surprised by the number of people who were still hearing about the project for the first time.
