Bermuda's new Police Commissioner and his deputy.

Labour and Home Affairs Minister the Hon. John Irving Pearman announced this on Friday during a response to Parliamentary questions from his PLP counterpart Mr. Alex Scott.

Mr. Pearman explained his responsibilities did not include the Policemen's housing arrangements.

But he said the Ministry of Works and Engineering had used advertisements in the local press to find a home for the Commissioner Mr. Colin Coxall.

Mr. Pearman said they did not have to do this for the Deputy Commissioner Mr.

Michael Mylod, because the house he wanted could be found through the normal real estate market.

Mr. Coxall's allowance will be $3,068 per month and Mr. Mylod's $1,076. Both homes will be fully furnished.
