Arlene Micham (AON) enjoyed a memorable performance in the Games badminton tournament at BAA Gym.Micham captured four gold medals and a silver to emerge as the biggest winner of the two-day tournament.She won gold medals in the ladies open, ladies over-40 singles and ladies doubles with Jackie Hart (BA) and a silver medal in the mixed doubles with Kenneth Bremar (BBA).Rowena Cespedes (BBA) and Shelley Hill (Hiscox) won the silver and bronze medals in the ladies singles.Also making a good impression was Rohan Pai (BBA) who won two gold medals competing in the men’s singles and men’s doubles.Edward Sousa and Glen Flood won gold in the men’s over-40 doubles, Mark Haugen and Rowena Cepedes won the gold medal in the mixed doubles while Midge Oliver and Denton Scraders won gold in the over-40 mixed doubles.Tracey DeSilva and Danial Hughes claimed the silver medal in the mixed doubles.Haugen and Clark won the silver medal in the men’s doubles while Rick Dorush and Hughes won the bronze.
