Four men arrested in connection with a drugs seizure last week have been released from Police custody.
The men were arrested last Wednesday after more than 300 kilos of cannabis were discovered at the Number Eight cargo shed at Hamilton docks.
Police spokesman Dwayne Caines said the men were released on Police bail yesterday.
Last week Police Superintendent Larry Smith revealed that Police and Customs Officers were heading for a record year of drug busts after so far seizing way in excess of last year's total.
Customs and Police officers confiscated $17 million worth of illegal substances during the first six months of this year - a figure close to the total for all of last year.
