An evening of music and food
entertain guests of the Alliance Franc u aise des Bermudes bilingual evening, which takes place at La Coquille on Saturday.
Joining her to sing classical and popular works in French and English will be a fellow French Canadian, tenor Marc Dubois.
Both singers are international artists. Ms Fredette is also an actress and dancer whose performances include concerts, musicals, opera and special galas.
In addition, she is an accomplished composer and arranger who has recorded a CD of her own compositions.
Mr. Dubois is also a versatile performer whose repertoire includes opera, Baroque, Broadway classics and modern musical theatre, and his busy career has taken him from North America to Europe and New Zealand.
The singers' performance will be preceded by a dinner of French cuisine devised by La Coquille's executive chef Serge Botelli.
The evening, entitled "L'Amour, Toujours l'Amour,'' begins at 7 p.m. Ticket prices ($120 for Alliance members, $130 for others) include food, wine and the concert, and are on sale at All Wrapped Up in the Washington Mall.
