Men deny charges in busy Plea Court session
A man has pleaded not guilty to assault, wounding and using a broken beer bottle as a weapon.
Dekimo Martin, 22, of Sandys, denies wounding Stephanie Hollis on April 20.
He appeared at Magistrates' Court yesterday, charged with assault, wounding and possession of the neck of a broken beer bottle as a weapon.
The case was adjourned until Monday.
A man has appeared at Magistrates' Court charged with stealing laundry detergent from a warehouse.
Kevin Davis, 46, of Southampton, made no plea yesterday but asked for the case to be tried at Supreme Court.
He is accused of trespassing at the Shopping Centre Warehouse in Victoria Street on October 1 and stealing two cases of Gain laundry detergent to the value of $75.04.
The case was adjourned until October 23.
A man pleaded not guilty yesterday to possession of drugs equipment, obstruction of a Police officer and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Kenneth Boyles, 29, of Alexandra Road, Devonshire, appeared at Magistrates' Court charged with the offences on February 15, in Pembroke.
It is alleged he obstructed a Police officer and then gave a false name and date of birth.
A trial date was set for January 15 at 2.30 p.m.
