Stephen Notman receives law degree

On July 1 the degree of LLB was conferred on Stephen D.R. Notman by Durham University, UK.The ceremony took place in historic Durham Cathedral in the presence of fellow graduates and their families and friends. The university's newly appointed Chancellor, writer Bill Bryson, gave the address.

Mr. Notman, son of David and Susanne Notman of 'Clebrig', Paget, is the recipient of the 2004 Cox Hallett Wilkinson legal scholarship. He received a BA (Hons.) in International Relations and History from Trinity College, University of Toronto and attended Bishop's College School in Quebec and Saltus Grammar School for his secondary education.

In September, Mr. Notman will be attending the Inns of Court School of Law, London, where he will be enrolled in the Bar Vocational Course.
