Production manager Mr. Peter Marsh is departing at the end of April, further fuelling rumours of unrest at the company.

Only two months ago, it was disclosed that managing director Mr. Horst Augustinovic was also resigning from the firm.

Island Press' Board of Directors have not given any reasons for either man's departure.

Like Mr. Augustinovic, Mr. Marsh did not want to comment on his situation yesterday and referred inquiries to Island Press director Mr. Randy French and the firm's chairman Sir John Plowman.

Mr. French, who is also head of the Bermuda Sun newspaper, would not comment.

And he even refused to confirm if Mr. Augustinovic was still working for Island Press.

Mr. Augustinovic was expected to leave the company before the end of 1992 but a staff member who answered Island Press' telephone yesterday indicated he was still with the firm.

Last month, Island Press announced it was waiving its cash dividends on common shares for the first time in recent history.
