causing the death of a 34-year-old pedestrian.

Allan Shaun Morris, of Vermont Valley View, Smith's, was accused in Magistrates' Court of causing the death of Marvin Anthony McDonald Bean by driving a car in a manner that was dangerous to the public on May 28.

Morris, who is represented by Mr. Delroy Duncan, was not required to enter a plea.

Bean was walking in an easterly direction on Palmetto Road near the Public Transport Board garage when he was involved in a collision with a Toyota during the early hours of that morning.

Bean, whose last known address was Cedar Park, Devonshire, was understood to have lived at the Salvation Army Shelter on North Street.

Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis yesterday granted Morris bail in the sum of $3,000 and held the case over for mention on December 1.
