A 22-year-old man riding a cycle on Rosemont Avenue, Pembroke was robbed by a passenger on another cycle in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The victim was riding home from the Esso Service station on Par-La-Ville Road when he was cut off by another cycle.

The passenger of the cycle jumped off and held the man around his waist.

He pressed a sharp object against the victim's neck before grabbing his wallet and fleeing.

The main suspect is described as a black male of medium build, 5'11" tall, and wearing a black and white sweatshirt.

The victim received bruising to his right hand but did not require medical treatment.

The incident happened around 1.10 a.m. on Wednesday.
