Burglars hit St. George's store

A St. George's store was burgled of an unknown amount of merchandise over Tuesday night.The store's owners asked Police not to divulge their name however Police are now appealing for witnesses. The alleged crime took place between 9.45 p.m. on Tuesday and 7.45 a.m. on Wednesday.
A St. George's store was burgled of an unknown amount of merchandise over Tuesday night.
The store's owners asked Police not to divulge their name however Police are now appealing for witnesses. The alleged crime took place between 9.45 p.m. on Tuesday and 7.45 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Police are appealing to anyone who knows of clothing and accessories being sold at a discount price. Anyone found with stolen merchandise can be prosecuted for receiving stolen property, a Police spokesman said.
Detective Constable George DeSilva at the St. George's Criminal Investigation Unit is in charge of the investigation, anyone with information can call 297-1122.
