Mrs. Dolores Andrews, who has the exclusive Avon dealership in Bermuda, will run the store and also continue to co-ordinate a team of 20 women, who sell the Avon products directly to customers in Bermuda.

Avon no longer sells just cosmetics, Mrs. Andrews said. Its merchandise includes Christmas gifts and men's gift, jewellry and perfumes.

Opening Avon stores has become a trend in the US, said Mrs. Andrews. "I needed a centrally located store where customers can come in and sample the goods,'' she said.

Bermuda's most popular Avon product is `Skin-So-Soft' bath and Avon's bubble baths.

An extra 40 percent is added to catalogue price to offset Customs duty and transport costs. Store goods will have 45 percent added to the catalogue price.

Mrs. Andrew has been selling Avon products for 20 years and now has the exclusive Avon dealership.
