Hamilton-based ACT is a systems integrator and reseller.

The company will market Apple, a recognised pioneer in the information industry, to corporations as well as the education market and Government, while sister company, The Complete Office, will service the small business and home-user market, ACT said.

"ACT is in the process of ensuring that the new line will be backed by a highly skilled team of technicians and support staff,'' the company said.

"Apple has an exceptional franchise with Macintosh being one of the most recognised brand names in the world,'' ACT sales and marketing director Mr.

Richard Parker said.

"We have found that customers are employing multiple computing platforms to address the needs of the enterprise.

"With the addition of Apple to our product portfolio, we are able to provide more complete solutions to a wider variety of businesses,'' he said.

Services offered by ACT include; hardware and software provision, networking and internetworking services, cabling as well as consulting.

The company employs 30 people and is headquartered in Williams House.

Apple products will be sold to home-users and small business through The Complete Office, located on Reid Street.

Apple Computer, headquartered in California, is the second largest supplier of personal computers in the world.

Apple develops, manufactures, licences, and markets products in over 140 countries.
