King Street boutique raided
break-ins and thefts Island-wide.
The Back Street Boutique was broken into overnight on Friday and the culprit or culprits got away with what Police call a "large quantity'' of merchandise.
An untidy search of the King Street store was made and clothing, Hollywood men's watches, and a quantity of cash was stolen.
Police have advised anyone approached over buying any item of clothing or watch to contact them through Headquarters at 295-0011 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-623-8477.
Meanwhile, someone stole a cash register from Fresco's Restaurant on Chancery Lane in broad daylight on Saturday.
The register contained a quantity of cash and was lifted from the back area of the restaurant between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Zig Zag Fashions on Court Street was also hit and cash taken from near the cash register on Friday night.
Three cases of soft drinks and a case of soda were taken from the Southampton Rangers snack shop overnight Saturday.
Cash and jewellery was stolen from a Friswell's Road home sometime last week.
The apartment owner only discovered the theft on Friday. A vacationing Wellington Slip Road man returned home last week and discovered someone had been into his home and stole a wallet containing cash, leaving the bag in which it was in still in the apartment.
A personal cheque and a quantity of cash was stolen from a Jubilee Road Devonshire home during the day on Thursday and an opportunistic thief got cash and jewellery from an insecure home after the occupant departed for only an hour on Friday.
