People: Emma Daisy Farge

EMMA DAISEY FARGE, daughter of Roger and Gillian Farge has just graduated from Oxford University with First Class Honours in Modern History and English. Her degree was ranked second overall in the History an English School within the University. Her college was St. Edmund (Teddy) Hall.

As well as studying for her BA, Emma founded and captained the first Teddy Hall women's football team, was elected Vice President of the College Junior Common Room, and co-edited the Oxford University magazine, ISIS. In her second year, she was awarded the Oxford University Rupert Murdoch scholarship for a summer internship at The Sunday Times.

Emma was educated in Bermuda up until the age of 16 (Port Royal School, Bermuda High School) and then completed her International Baccalaureate at Malvern College, England.

She intends to continue her studies at the Sorbonne in Paris and then move into the field of either journalism or law.
