No new cases of Covid-19 were recorded today after almost 1,200 test results came back to health officials.A Ministry of Health spokeswoman said 1,185 test results had been received and all were clear.The total number of cases remained at 177, including four active cases.The active cases are being monitored by health officials and none are hospitalised.A total of 90 cases were on-island transmissions with a known contact, 19 were on-island transmissions with an unknown contact and 60 came in from overseas.The spokeswoman said the sources of two of the cases were still under investigation.Bermuda has had 164 recoveries from Covid-19 and nine deaths.The average age of the confirmed cases is 57 and the age range is ten to 101.The average age of those who died was 74 and the age range was 57 to 91.Bermuda’s country status from the Pan-American Health Organization stayed at “sporadic cases” and the seven-day average of the real time reproduction number is less than one.The Perot Post Office test centre in Hamilton reopened at 10am today for Covid-19 tests for travellers after Hurricane Paulette’s departure. E-mails with testing times have been sent to travellers.People without access to e-mail can call 444-2498 to find out their rescheduled test time. The Heron Bay test site will be open tomorrow from 2pm until 7pm.
