Tokio Millennium Re (TMR) has appointed former PartnerRe executive Patrick Tanzola to be its senior vice-president, Property

Underwriting for the company’s US Branch office based in Stamford, Connecticut.

Pat has more than 20 years of reinsurance industry experience. At PartnerRe, he was senior vice-president, senior property

underwriter.

Before that, he worked with another Bermuda-based company, Ace Tempest Reinsurance Company in the role of assistant vice-president.

He has also worked with AXA Corporate Solutions Reinsurance Company and American International Group.

Mr Tanzola will work closely with Jason Williams, senior vice-president, in helping to serve US clients in the Standard Lines segment.

Tatsuhiko Hoshina, Tokio Millennium Re AG’s chief executive officer, said: “As we continue to build out our US underwriting platform, Pat is a great addition to our Standard Lines underwriting team, contributing to our overall global underwriting strategy.”
