Thad Crouch has been promoted to the new post of vice president of airport operations at International Bonded Couriers of Bermuda, Ltd.

Mr. Crouch was previously sales and marketing manager for the company. In his new responsibility he will be responsible for all in and outbound air express courier shipments, including Customs clearing.

Mr. Crouch will be working at the company's new airport office, located at the Bermuda Air Express clearance building, along with eight other employees.

"What we are trying to do is to expedite clearance of all inbound air express material and work toward freight clearance through Customs to achieve delivery the same day,'' Mr. Crouch said. IBC uses its own propeller airplane with daily flights for the business.

*** Bermuda-based LaSalle Re Holdings Ltd. CFO Andrew Cook will be leaving the company effective March 31.

Clare Moran , the company's principal accounting officer, will take over Mr.

Cook's responsibilities in the interim until a permanent replacement is named.

In a statement Mr. Cook said he was leaving so as to look at other opportunities.

"LaSalle has been an exciting and rewarding experience for me,'' he stated.

"I now feel it is time to put that experience to the test of a new and different challenge.'' LaSalle Re also announced the appointment of Peter Woolf as vice president of underwriting. Mr. Woolf begins his duties this week.
