The Bermuda Diabetes Association has organised the event which includes hundreds of schoolchildren skipping throughout the day at their schools.

Apart from schoolchildren, Guides, Brownies, hospital staff, politicians, and even Italian waiters will skip for diabetes.

The finale -- from 6 p.m. tonight to 9 a.m. tomorrow morning -- will be at the horse shelter on Front Street. The "Skip To It'' event is part of Diabetes Awareness Month.
