Curfew is still in place tonight, says Premier
A nightly curfew between 11pm to 5am will remain in place for now, according to David Burt, the Premier.
The curfew was imposed on December 12 following a spike in the number of Covid-19 cases on the island.
At the time, Government said the restriction would remain in place until today, January 4.
But this afternoon Mr Burt confirmed on Twitter that it will remain in place at least through tonight. He said decisions on changes to social distancing will be made at a Cabinet meeting tomorrow.
đGA #Bermuda. Contrary to some posts, #Coronavirus restrictions do not expire at midnight, theyâll remain in effect until changed. The Cabinet will review recommended changes to the restrictions at tomorrowâs meeting & an update will be given at tomorrowâs Press Conference. -DB
