Police seek Fabian conman
A man claiming to be surveying property for post-hurricane damage is being sought by Police.
On Sunday morning, officers attended a house on Langton Hill, Pembroke, after the homeowner reported that a man entered his home and opened his bedroom door.
When confronted, the suspect said he was doing a survey of damage done in the area during Hurricane Fabian - but then left the premises.
He was described as a black male, in his late 30s, 5 feet 11 inches tall of medium build with dreadlocks in a hairnet. He also had a small goatee.
Anyone with any information should contact Central CID on 295 0011.
Police are advising the public to be wary of individuals claiming to be from any hurricane relief organisation. If in doubt, they should ask for identification and contact the Police.
