Damon Rabain of Club Road, Smith's Parish, said he was in a hurry to get to court when he zipped past Police on Harrington Sound Road doing 65 kilometres per hour on December 12 last year.
Yesterday, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner fined him $450 for riding without a valid driver's license in December and $100 for speeding. It later emerged that Rabain was actually disqualified from driving when he arrived at court after being stopped in December.
