Marsha Burrows has left Bermuda Commercial Bank, which she joined in 1970, to
Mrs. Burrows' experience includes retail and corporate banking, foreign exchange, accounting and administration. During the last five years, she has concentrated on risk management, mortgage lending, advances, consumer lending and credit recovery.
She is currently studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at the University of Maryland, which she hopes to complete in the summer of 1995.
Mrs. Cherry Hartnett has become the Bank's Officer, Organisation & Methods, ISD Operations.
Mrs. Hartnett, who qualified as a CPA in 1983, was educated at Graceland College, Iowa, where she received a BA degree in Economics and Business Administration.
Prior to joining the Bank of Bermuda, she was employed as an analyst by Commodities Trader, Wilson Groups, Inc., Bowery Savings Bank, New York; and Maduno & Curiels Trust Company in Curacao.
Mr. Mark B. Lowell has become Senior Project Leader, Information Systems Division.
Mr. Lowell began his career in 1979 with IDS Financial Services in Minneapolis and, in October, 1989, he was appointed Manager of Trust Systems and Technology.
In February, 1991, until joining the Bank of Bermuda, Mr. Lowell was a self-employed Systems and Product Development Consultant.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin and is currently enrolled in the Master of Software Design and Development Programme at the University of St. Thomas, in Minnesota.
